Feds crack down on MD, Internet pharmacies
Federal prosecutors have indicted a Philadelphia physician for trafficking in $8.75 million worth of diet pills. Separately, five individuals have been charged in illegal Internet pharmacy operation that generated more than $33 million. The doctor, Albert Kofsky of Huntingdon, PA, distributed the pills through a fake medical practice, hiring his cleaning lady to masquerade as a nurse. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) has abandoned the grandiose ideas of healthcare system overhaul that galvanized her opponents in 1993 and made "HillaryCare" the biggest fiasco of the first Clinton administration. But she hasn't abandoned her concern, and is advocating smaller reforms to extend health insurance coverage to all--especially children.
